About this Treatment
Skinboosters is an injectable product intended for the restoration of dull, damaged skin. Skin Boosters are an injectable hyaluronic acid that acts as an internal moisturiser to hydrate the skin, improve the skin quality and give the skin an overall ‘boost’. The injectable also improves the skin’s elasticity, firmness and radiance by stimulating natural collagen production (we begin to lose collagen from age 30!).

- Avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours.
- Do not use AHA, Retinols/Vitamin C therapy or oil based make-up for 24 hours.
- Avoid facials, facial waxing, chemical peels, IPL or energy based treatments for two weeks after treatment.

What happens during the treatment?
You will have a full consultation with one of our friendly, highly experienced Clinical Specialists to devise a personalised treatment plan to address your skin concerns.
Although the injections are superficial, we have numbing options available for patients who would like to reduce discomfort. We can apply a numbing cream or a local anaesthetic to reduce discomfort during the treatment. The procedure will take 15-45 minutes depending on the number of areas being treated.
Will Skin Boosters get rid of wrinkles?
Skin boosters will smooth out fine static lines in the skin by creating a blanket of moisture within the skin cell structure, which will act to nourish your skin. If your skin feels crepey and saggy then a booster will help restore a smoother more supple look to the skin.
What is the optimal treatment application for best results?
We recommend one to two initial treatment sessions spaced about two to four weeks apart. The effects of Skinboosters are gradual and subtle, with the full effect taking up to three months to become visible as new collagen is generated.
To maintain optimal results, we advise you to schedule regular maintenance sessions every six to nine months.
